Welcome to the Oil Spill Web

The Oil-Spill-Web is a free service to people that are interested in response to oil pollution. The site has been serving its readers since March 1998, so we are among the oldest oil spill sites on the web. Recently our oil spill control directory database - the largest on the web - was damaged. It contained over 500 companies world wide that provides equipment, services, or response related to oil spills on water as well as on land. The Oil-Spill-Web will continue without this directory. There are still lots of information to gather on the site and through links to the flemingCo website.

Check the latest news on high to extreme viscosity oil spill response R&D. Read about the Extreme Viscosity Bitumen Pump Transfer Tests in Denmark. Canada, and USA.  Read about Mechanical Feeder Skimmer testing on extremely viscous 2 - 3 million cSt bitumen.

Emergency Contact Details in more than 160 countries provided by the IMO Country Profiles.
